Premium Care is a warranty and after sales service that covers you in the unlikely event that your laptop has a manufacturing fault or failure.

Direct.  The warranty is provided directly by the manufacturer in Australia so you get your issue resolved quickly and covered by Australian consumer laws.

Phone: There is a direct Australian phone number you can call for support.

Onsite Pickup and Return. In association with Australian Air Express, DHL Express and Star-track Express, the manufacturer will ensure your machine is picked up, typically on the same day as your warranty claim, and is shipped back to you within 7 days of arrival at the service centre.

Free Loan Machine. If the manufacturer is unable to meet the 7 day commitment due to unforeseen circumstances, a loan unit will be arranged free of charge for temporary use whilst the defective product remains in service. All freight costs will be borne by the manufacturer.

DOA Policy. If you’re unlucky enough to experience a fault with your notebook within the first 14 days of purchase, the manufacturer will have a brand new notebook prepared for immediate swap over delivered to your door (credit card security required).

Burnt Pixel Policy. Production technology does not guarantee LCD Screens can be manufactured without defective or “burnt” pixels. These pixels are described as “dots” or pin-head sized discolorations on the screen. Any amount of burnt pixels greater or equal to six, dispersed over the LCD, is deemed to be warrantable and any amount of burnt pixels greater or equal to three clustered (within 1.5mm radius) together to be warrantable. However, due to the often misunderstood nature of this issue and our suppliers focus on delivering the highest levels of customer satisfaction, the manufacturer will replace an LCD screen with even one “burnt” pixel if you notify them within the first 7 days of new product warranty.

The Manufacturer warrants its laptops to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a statutory period of 12 months from the date of purchase. The Trade Practices Act(1974) implies warranties and conditions into consumer contracts. These warranties and conditions are independent and are not affected by the warranty offered by the manufacturer which may extend beyond the 12 month period.

Warranty details are provided on the web site. The warranty covers all components except for batteries and accessories. Notebook batteries are considered consumable items and will reduce in operational life over time. They are replaceable.

Yes, We ship units direct from the factory to almost any destination in the world. There is no additional cost to most destinations, but the warranty requires that you ship the unit back to Australia (at your expense) in the unlikely event of a fault with the unit requiring replacement or service parts.

For a long time the producers of products like SolidWorks, IronCAD, AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit have been recommending the use of Quadro GPU’s for their software. Quadro cards have been finely tuned to support OpenGL and also have software drivers that have been developed with 3D CAD in mind.

Sounds good right? Not quite…

This focus on CAD also means poorer performance with virtually all other software being used on the same machine. Quadro’s were and still are also significantly more expensive as they are catering for a smaller market and don’t have the economies of scale that modern gaming GPU’s have in their favour.

Even our previous range of CAD Laptops with G-Force RTX 3000 series GPU’s are superior to the Quadro’s at supporting games, image processing and other OpenGL and Active-X applications. Many CAD products now also support both Active-X and Open-GL modes of operation.
