How do I license my RealCAD / LANDWorksCAD / ArborCAD?

Answer

Start the program

Double-click on the program’s shortcut to run the program. This is usually on your computers Desktop

The first time you run the software, The End User License Agreement (EULA) will appear on your screen. This box will reappear each time you start until you purchase and activate your license. 

Click the [I Accept] button to display the Software License dialog box. 

(If you do NOT wish to license at this time click the Exit button and return to Trial Mode)

 

Click the Set License Key button

 

Setting your License Key Online

If your computer is actively connected to the Internet (i.e. you can browse the Internet) at this time, you can obtain a licence directly online. This is an automated process.

1. Click Have you Purchased? Yes
2. Select Normal stand-alone machine license
3. Select This machine is connected to the internet and I have my serial number
4. Type your email address and software serial number that was sent to you
5. Click on Get License

Now your RealCAD / LANDWorksCAD should be successfully licensed. If this method doesn’t work, please read the instructions below:

Setting your License Key Offline

1. Click Have you Purchased? Yes
2. Select Normal stand-alone machine license
3. Select This machine is not connected to the internet (even if you are connected to the internet as this is CURRENTLY the only method available)
4. Copy the Software LOCK Number and Paste (Ctrl+V) it into an email. Send the email to support@cad.com.au
5. You will receive your Activation Key by email usually within a few hours. When you do, copy/paste it into the Key field and click the Validate button.

A Key is comprised of 8 characters, followed by a hyphen (or dash), followed by another 8 characters. The characters can only be the numbers 0-9 and the letters A-E (upper or lower case, it doesn’t matter). There cannot be any spaces in the Activation Key, even at the end.

While you’re waiting for your activation key you may select ‘Trial Mode’ to continue using the software.

1. Click on Offline

3. You will receive your Activation Key by email usually within a few hours. When you do, copy/paste it into the Key field and click the Validate button.
