Use Original Properties in RealCAD / LANDWorksCAD / ArborCAD

Question

After I insert a component / figure and then checking its properties, they use a different layer, style, colour…

I want to be able to change the layer, line weight, etc… when inserting figures in RealCAD / LANDWorksCAD / ArborCAD.

Answer

You can choose to use the original properties that the figure was originally created, or use the properties: layer, colour, style and weight currently selected in your drawing.

Go to Options > Figures

RealCAD Figure Options

Check or uncheck the following options according to your preferences:

  • Use original layer (yes/no)
  • Use original colour (yes/no)
  • Use original style (yes/no)
  • Use original weight (yes/no)
