CAD International are happy to announce the opening of a new office in Kanagawa, Japan. Our Japanese office will commence business in mid-January 2012.

Our aim is to extend our CAD presence in the Asian region, expanding our communications and offering our expert CAD advise, training and other CAD related services.

We trust our clients in Japan will be delighted to have local support and sales right at their doorstep, whilst our New Zealand, Australian and Asian clients will have direct contact with CAD International for an additional two hours every work day. Japan is two hours behind head office in Sydney, Australia.

Since CAD International purchased the IP of DRCAuto, we have been working continuously with several programming teams to recover the code from its sabotaged state.

We can now reveal that marked progress has been made. Our program leader has advised that his team are more than 85% closer to full recovery of the software and have an expected ETA for this in early February 2012.

From this point we will be able to build and release full 64Bit and Windows 7 compatible modules and update the code to work with the latest versions of AutoCAD®. Beyond that we hope to also update Smart Architect®
