Hatching not showing in RealCAD / LANDWorksCAD / ArborCAD

Question

I am experiencing problems when hatching in RealCAD / LANDWorksCAD / ArborCAD

Answer

When inserting your planes into your drawing, you have different choices:

RealCAD Planes Commands

  1. Plane hatch by boundary: This will work with ‘closed’ entities, such as circles, rectangles…
  2. Insert plane by boundary points: With you mouse, you click on the boundary points.

There are several reasons why you can’t see the plane or hatching:

a) Make sure all the layers, styles and colours are switched on.

b) Make sure the hatching pattern is ‘small enough’ to be seen in your entity.

Go to Options > Planes On the ‘Spacing’ section, type a smaller number in Spacing and Cross hatch spacing.

Click OK and try to insert the hatching.
