How to Import / Export DWG file to CAD

Question

How do I open or save as DWG in RealCAD, LANDWorksCAD or ArborCAD?

Answer

Import DWG to RealCAD

Go to File > Import > DWG

Select the DWG file you wish to open, click Open.

A dialog box will appear where you can select whether the units are in mm or inches. Additionally you can clear the existing layer names if desired. Click OK.

Export DWG to RealCAD

Go to File > Export > DWG

Select the destination folder and type a valid filename. Click Save.

A dialog box will appear where you can set some export options, such the units (mm or inches), curve segment length and scale text (0.67 value recommended)
