IronCAD Crashes on Startup or Doesn’t Display Components

Question

IronCAD crashes…

  • At start up, once selecting new scene
  • When dragging a shape from catalog
  • After a few seconds… randomly
  • …

… or, after loading, dragging a component from any of the catalogs doesn’t display on the window.

Answer

This is a common issue using Intel(R) HD Graphics Card.

To avoid this, Start IronCAD but click Cancel.

Then go to Tools > Options > Rendering and switch the renderer from Advanced OpenGL to OpenGL
