IronCAD Draft not displaying text correctly

When opening a DWG file in IronCAD Draft, some of the text don’t display correctly.

Answer

IronCAD Draft might not have the appropriate font.

The way to get the text to display correctly is to pick the required font when IronCAD Draft prompts for the font mapping when opening the drawing. The font file my have to be supplied if the font file does not exist in the IronCAD Draft Fonts folder.

Another alternative is to select the text that is not displaying correctly, and change the font style in the Text Editor.

In this example, selecting ‘Arial’ will display the characters correctly.
