IronCAD not enough space available on C drive

Question

I am unable to install IronCAD as it gives the error message that there is not enough space available on my drive C:

However, I have plenty of free space.

Answer

We have seen some cases where the installer complains that there is not enough disk space, if that is the error you are seeing, unpack the downloaded .exe file using WinZip, 7Zip or WinRAR (or any such program), then run the setup.exe from there.

The following instructions apply to WinRAR.

1. Right click on the installer, select Extract to…

2. Select your desired folder destination (any folder created in the Desktop would do)

3. Open the destination folder once the files are extracted, then run setup.exe to start the IronCAD installation routine.
