RealCAD / LANDWorksCAD / ArborCAD Snap and Drag Settings

Question

Since I updated my cad.exe file, every time I hover the crosshair in the intersection between 2 lines another smaller ‘X’ shows across within the crosshair.

What does it mean?

Answer

The Crosshair has changed recently.

The crosshair can change depending on its position. In that particular case, it is ‘alerting’ that you are pointing onto an intersection.

If you want to alter the crosshair behaviour, hold the Shift key and right-click your mouse in an empty drawing area.

A contextual menu will appear. Select Snap and Drag Settings

It will pop-up a window where you can check or uncheck the Snap and Drag Settings.
