RegDBGetKeyValueEx Failed StrucPLUS

Question

When trying to install StrucPLUS I get the message ‘RegDBGetKeyValueEx failed’ when searching for compatible CAD applications.

Answer

StrucPLUS installer is attempting to search for compatible CAD applications by accessing Windows Registry.

If you are using Windows XP, you need to have installed Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 or greater.

Check on your Control Panel, under ‘Add or Remove Programs’ that the Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 or greater is already installed. If not,

• Download and Install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 for Windows XP 32 bit (x86)
• Download and Install Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 for Windows XP 64 bit (x64)

 Windows Vista and Windows 7 users has already installed the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and greater.

If you still have the same error message after checking the Microsoft .NET Framework is already installed, try to run the StrucPLUS installer again. If still does not work,contact us so we can help you with the installation.
